HANDOVER CEREMONY BETWEEN LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES

The handover ceremony between outgoing and incoming Legal Representatives was held this Thursday 26th March 2026. The ceremony took place at St.Famille Hotel, attended by both Legal & Vice Representatives (Incoming and outgoing), attended by the bureau of the board of directors, BSR secretariat the management team.

In a significant moment for the Bible Society of Rwanda (BSR), His Eminence Antoine Cardinal KAMBANDA officially handed over all BSR working documents to ensure a smooth continuation of the Society’s mission. The handover marks an important transition aimed at maintaining the momentum of BSR’s activities across the country.

During the ceremony, Cardinal KAMBANDA reaffirmed his continued support for the work of the Bible Society, emphasizing his readiness to assist whenever necessary as BSR advances its various programs and initiatives that serve communities throughout Rwanda.

The newly elected legal representative, Bishop Célestin, graciously received the mandate and expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him. He warmly welcomed the responsibilities associated with his new role and pledged to sustain the progress achieved so far. Bishop Célestin highlighted his commitment to working closely with fellow leaders, technical staff, and all partners to ensure that the mission of BSR continues to flourish.

In his remarks, he took a moment to appreciate the outgoing representatives for their dedicated service and the milestones they accomplished during their tenure. As a gesture of recognition, he presented them with certificates honoring their invaluable contributions to the advancement of BSR’s mission among the people of Rwanda.

The leadership transition symbolizes renewal, continuity, and shared dedication to spreading the Word of God and strengthening the impact of the Bible Society of Rwanda nationwide.
