The Bible Society of Rwanda held a solemn commemoration for its Board Members and Staff who tragically lost their lives during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.

Each year, this organization unites with all Rwandans to remember the countless victims of this dark chapter in history. The event serves as a poignant reminder of the immense sorrow and loss endured by the Tutsi community, where families were torn apart and lives were irreversibly changed. It is a time to reflect on the atrocities committed, honor the memories of those who perished, and acknowledge their enduring spirits.

Through this act of remembrance, the society fosters a sense of unity and healing, as they strive to ensure that such a tragic event is never forgotten, and lives were irreversibly changed.
