On July 30th, 2019 All the staff of the Bible Society of Rwanda (BSR) had sessions with Rev. Mauril, the United Bible Societies (UBS) facilitator and Mr. Simon Peter, the General Secretary of Bible Society of Uganda. The training was held in Kigali with the aim of assessing the BSR’s daily operations and its current Strategic plan.
The team went also through the African Biblical Leadership Initiative (ABLI) which is the International Conference to be hosted by the Bible Society of Rwanda in October 2019 at Kigali Convention Center and other activities related to the Bible work that the BSR is in charge of.
On the following days of the training (Wednesday July 31st and a half of Thursday August 1st, 2019, there has been an induction for the new members of the BSR Organs among them were the Board of Directors, members of the Conflict Resolution committee and the Internal Auditors. These training were organized to help the incoming Board and others to have overview of the organizational culture of the BSR.
The attendees have indicated their interest in the training and appreciated the sessions with their facilitators. They have committed themselves to contribute to the fulfillment of the mission of the Bible Society of Rwanda and make a positive impact within their respective churches.
