The Bible Society of Rwanda conducted sessions to groups of trained pastors from different denominations on the Faith Comes By Hearing Program. From the 17th to 18th of March 2022, Pastors who were trained came from different churches including;
- Anglican Church of Rwanda, EAR
- Catholic Church
- Adventist
- Methodiste Libre
- ADEPR
- AEBR
- UEBR
- Evangelical Free Church of Rwanda
Throughout this program, a small group of people follow the word of God by the use of Audio Proclaimers starting from Mathew to Revelation in the New Testament. It serves as an opportunity for Christians to discuss deeper and know the Word of God.
This program helps in expanding the Gospel to other people whereby illiterate people can hear and discuss with others the word of God, and enables Christian’s unity from different denominations members of the group with Christ as the center. The program came as an opportunity because it opens up space for discussion of the word of God in a group and permit whoever present to ask questions to their spiritual leaders in order to understand better what the Word of God means to them, therefore they grow spiritually and be transformed by the Word of God but also enabled to help others in a similar setup by sharing the Word of God and by practicing wat they heard.
Pastors exchanged their experiences Particularly during the time of Covid-19; some of the confronted challenges and lessons learnt, but also adopted solutions and proposed recommendations to Churches and to the Bible Society of Rwanda.
The General Secretary of the BSR reminded pastors that; “at the end of the day, what we need is people’s happiness originating from hearing the word of God.” He encouraged present pastors to take further the Gospel and enable others to hear the Word of God and promised that BSR will be with them throughout this mission.
